Hi Randall,

In the case of the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co. and Museum, I believe that all of their coaches are painted that dark green color. The ones with the duck-bill roofs may also have red roofs. None of that is specifically for the Polar Express. Since their summertime excursion trains are typically much shorter than the Polar Express, the museum does have quite a few cars that are not used most of the year, and yes, I do believe that at least some of those are indeed "permanently" lettered for the Polar Express.

The big news up in Portland this year is that the power is Monson Railroad #3, which has not run in quite a few years. She is leased to the Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes group and was recently re-assembled after some major boiler work that took several years to complete. After the Polar Express, she will be going up to Phillips, where she will run next year. The Portland Team is still working on Bridgeton & Harrison #7, and hopes to have her running next year.

/Kevin
