Folks,
There were three replicas built for the Fair of the Iron horse in 1927. One of them has been displayed at the Museum of Science and Industry at Chicago since the late 1930s.
Now the museum has auctioned it off and the replica of the B & O York (original 1831) has been purchased by the B &O Railroad Museum. I think it is great when a locomotive goes home!
