... And anything eastbound over Cumbres - as in the photos - was coming FROM Silverton ...     eye rolling smiley

I do know that when he was still a kid, Willie referred to the entire line from Alamosa to Silverton as 'The Silverton Branch'.  He didn't
know Farmington even existed, and thought that the only commodities shipped on the RR were uranium ore & (radioactive?) tourists.
