Reefer color

October 05, 2015 01:34PM avatar
The reefer is one of my favorite cars. BUT! Is the color correct? It seems a bit too bright, even "dayglo". It is so bright that in a number of my pix the color just washed out completely. Of course, how it photographs has nothing to do with historical accuracy, but it does look too bright to me. I suspect some research went into the color, can anyone provide more insight. And I would love to see another reefer roadable since I seem to remember they tended to move in pairs, with two ng. reefer holding the contents of one standard gauge reefer.
