Re: D&S/C&TS visit and lunch

Thanks to everyone for the lunch replies. Though I missed all those posted Thursday and Friday, I'll put those recommendations in the bank for my next visit, hopefully sooner than another 43 years! As circumstances played out I skipped lunch entirely.

Had a great four days, enjoyed it immensely. The Friday slide show was really nice, got to meet Ernie, so I got that going for me. I probably took a thousand photos, 60-70% of which were the undersides and details of locomotives and rolling stock, I'll leave the action shots to the pros and gladly stay out of the way. Saw the MoW charter depart, Friends member but otherwise a non-participant - not my reason for being there, got lucky is all.
