Size of NG Box Cars

I am working on some structures for the Cripple Creek RR area and need to know if possible what the average height was for box cars from the rails to the top of the car? this is because i have some excellent reference photos of the buildings with the box cars right next to them and this will help me estimate the overall height of the structure. These were box cars of the CCRR as used in the District as in the photo below..thanks in advance for any help on this.
