Earlier this summer, I had the opportunity to talk to the gentleman in charge of the restoration of this station. He went to great lengths to find some of the items he used in the restoration. While the interior will not look much like the original, the exterior is a wonderful restoration. The chimneys have been rebuilt (but are fake!), and the dormers were also rebuilt. If I recall, one of the windows was found in the attic & reinstalled! Local ET&WNC fans are excited about the change from a tire store to its original look!
