How sad that he is gone. I hope there are others, younger, interested in the West Side (and rail history in general) to keep knowledge alive. Like others, I too enjoyed and learned from his clinics at NNGC, and his posts here.

Reading his obituary reveals what a fine man he was, with many interests and a great family. He enjoyed Formula 1 racing, well - we had that in common too. My thoughts and condolences to his family.
