Well, the purists might not like the sight of that ugly yeller Santa Fe Compressor sitting on the back end wheels and all, but it it sure saved the compressor on 487. The crew said the beast behaved like a young bull: never had that much air before!
BTW Monday was actually day TWO. The crew bulldozed from the bridge to Lobato trestle on Friday.
