Locomotive #168

Hey, we were contacted by several people on the forum, asking us to post pictures of historic Locomotive #168. We will also be posting pictures of the restoration as we move forward.
The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad (C&TS RR) and the City of Colorado Springs are jointly beginning the steps necessary to restore historic Denver & Rio Grande locomotive #168 to operating condition. When completed, the restored locomotive will provide an opportunity for visitors to the railroad to ride on trains composed of restored historic cars from the 1880's.
We need your help! Donations are being accepted to transport the locomotive from Colorado Springs to Antonito CO where we can begin the restoration process at our Historic Car Facility. Your donations are tax deductible. Mail to PO Box 1057 in Chama, or call/stop by the depot. 888-286-2737.
