While it would be wonderful if someone would take on restoration of the coach, it could be cocooned and placed back outdoors so they could use their enginehouse. The Strasburg RR has done several wooden cars that way, preventing further deterioration until funding and time is available for their restoration. Cocooning involves covering the roof with some durable, waterproof material, and covering the sides with plywood, OSB, etc., with a few louvered vent holes in the sides. This is not a lot different than the old streetcars that became cabins and were saved by being covered with a roof and siding, to eventually be restored as streetcars again.
