Note that the RPO to Montrose had been dropped by this time. The end of thru train 315-316 must have coincided with the start of thru one day service to Denver via Grand Junction, the Dotsero cutoff, and the Moffat Tunnel. The departure and arrival times changed to allow for one crew to make the return to Salida from Gunnison under the hours of service.
