It has been said that Pullman Green will take on different tones depending on the lighting -- bright sun, hazy, overcast, artificial electric lights, florescent or incandescent, etc.

The olive green used by different railroads sometimes was the same as Pullman Green. But, the olive green used by the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific was a different shade. Similarly the Santa Fe's olive green was yet a different color -- having more yellow in it tending toward an apple green shade of olive.
