Railbus Doodlebug tests on the C&TS 1990s?

A couple years ago I found an article and maybe 2 or 3 pictures about a Railbus, a Doodlebug, motorized Coach, that was custom built here in the US, for a 3ft gauge line in Central or South America.

The key was, to 'test run' the Railbus before shipping south, it was taken to and run on the Cumbres & Toltec for a day or two.

I think the Railbus was built and test run, maybe 10-20 years ago, so maybe in the 1990's era, give or take.


Anyone have any more good details on this unit?

Just curious as, it was a modern looking Railbus as I recall, not built for blending with the old style (like the D&S unit).
