These photo's are all very good. They were originally part of a collection at the farm but some time ago was given to the OC archives.

hard to say what the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific received but the D&RGW, SP, and UP did the hauling. And the story is that Walter paid 10x what he paid for the equipment alone, and walt paid about $4000 for 41. Again thats the story, I have no idea what RR shipping rates would have been in 1951.
