According to Helmer's "Rip Van Winkle Railroads", after the Stony Clove & Catskill Mountain/Kaaterskill system was standard gauged, Kaaterskill RR 3 is supposed to have gone west to become either Colorado Central 10/Union Pacific Denver & Gulf 152, CC 11/UPD&G 153, CC 12/UPD&G 154, or CC 13/UPD&G 155 (which one is unclear), before returning east again in 1899 to end her days in familiar territory on the Catskill & Tannersville as either their first number 1 or first number 2 (Helmer's book says number 1, website above says number 2). She was finally retired in 1907 and her boiler installed in the Catskill Mountain House hotel.
EDIT: According to whoever is responsible for the Wikipedia article on the Catskill & Tannersville, Kaaterskill RR 3 shown above was originally Chateaguay Ore & Iron Co. 8, 'Dannemora', Brooks C/N 411 of 1883. She was sold to the dealer F.M. Hicks Co. (where the above transfer table was probably located) and then to the Catskill & Tannersville as their first number 2 in 1899. She was retired and her boiler installed in the Catskill Mountain House hotel in 1901 or 1902.
The Catskill & Tannersville 2-6-0 that spent time in Colorado was the C&T's first number 1, which was originally DSP&P 38/ C&S 20! (See how easily the historical record gets confused?
