You could rent a towed unit (on wheels) and set it on a flatcar behind the ditcher. However, as they are already on the road, they will make do with Earl's suggestions on the compressor oilers and won't have any problems. Since they are operating in a mode of urgency, it doesn't make a lot of sense to take the time to set it up, which would cost them about a half a day.
