Actually, that was the Buick-based Motor No. 1 from the Ridgway Railroad Museum. We have actually run it several times on the D&S and the C&TS over the last 15 years, most recently on the Cumbres early last month. The Goose we also had at Goosefest that was running on a longish track for the first time was the just-completed, fully restored Goose No. 4, which we restored and has now been returned to Telluride, where it is on display by its owners the Telluride Volunteer Fire Department. Topic of discussion is the replica of the first No. 1, which was model T based and used by Superintendent W. D. Lee and others until it was destroyed in the mid-1920s.
