This engine is one that the D&RG leased or sold to H. D. Fisher who ran a logging operation at Manitou Park several miles north of what is now Woodland Park, CO in the 1880s. Fisher was a friend of Dr. W. A. Bell, who was a corporate officer of the D&RG. The Fisher Lumber Co. railroad was isolated with no rail interchange, and ran roughly parallel to what is today's CO Hwy. 67. The picture and a short paragraph on the railroad is on p. 231 of "Colorado's Mountain Railroads revised edition", R. A. LeMassena, (p) Sundance, 1984. The railroad and mill were dismantled when the available timber in the area was used up.

The 2-6-0 was D&RG #5 and became Little Book Cliff #1.

Hope this answers your question.
