Oregon Lumber Co. had a 50 ton, outside frame Heisler at Bates OR. They were not that uncommon. OLC also had a 45 ton Heisler (Former Nibley Lumber Co.) that was converted from standard to narrow gauge. This was easy on both Heislers and Climaxes as the gears, side frames, and wheels were the same. And, if the proper gauge trucks could be traded for, the change in gauge was no harder than swapping trucks on a car.
