I am almost certain I have seen several of these photographs before. The photo of 473 without her drivers in Alamosa, the pilots of the K-36s in the roundhouse somewhere and the snowcovered 487, I am almost positive I hae seen.

I have a book of my grandfather's, Backwoods Railroads of the West, that was a childhood favorite that I am almost certain those three photos have appeared in. This book was published by Kalmbach.

At the moment the book is in storage or I would go and look to see if your photos are the ones I remember.
