Regarding photos and the C&TS

Recently, John Bush started to run some contests to obtain some shots from us for their use. Sometimes he would award the winners with passes (yes, Russo, I'm talking to you!:-) ) and sometimes he would offer a comp ride to anyone whose pictures were used. Fine by me... I've entered both (and he's used images from both as well) and while I can appreciate the free ride, to tell the truth, I really did it to help out the C&TS as well as I can. In fact, I'm willing to let John (and the C&TS) use of any of my images if they want... at no charge. If he can comp a ride as payment, I won't turn it down... but that's not why I'm doing this. In my case, since I'm not exactly rolling in money, it's the least I can do to support a piece of railroading that should have vanished many years ago, but didn't, and has somehow managed to hang on...
