I'll post a crop of that switchstand to PacificNG later this evening.
A little more detail can be made out by viewing the full resolution version.

In the dark recesses of the NCNG Museum's storage we have located what appears to be the remains of locking mechanism from one of these stands. I do not yet have photographs but I will get some to post soon. I am not certain if this component we have came from the C&C or the Colusa & Lake, both were local to us and used this type.
