C&TS Replacement of track to engine house stall 2

I have occasionally taken a peak at the Chama web cams.
I noticed that they recently replaced the track to stall 2 of the engine house. It is my understanding that there is a plan in the works to replace the engine house with a larger facility.
I can only guess as to what necessitated the replacement of the track to stall 2 in the engine house, but I was a bit surprised to see it done as there is a major overhaul planned in next few years.
