Since the D&S runs year round I bet it's a bit tougher for them. I think what they tried to do at one point was save the K-36's for the Spring-Fall ops and use the K-28's on the winter ops. with both K-28's down this past winter two K-36's had to remain in service while two got work done. I know the 481 had some repairs done. Right now the D&S is only operating with 4 servicable engines where in times past they usually had 6 hot engines at a given time. I know I'm biased a bit but I think it's time more of the 37's get into service. The 28's are in need of major work--they've been in constant service and never really stopped working like all the 36's did. I just see that down the road there will be major work to do on a lot of the operable engines and while they get attention some of the inoperable engines are going to have to be brought back into Service for example all the 37's on the deadlines in Durango, Silverton, Chama, and Antonito are prime candidates.
