5 freshly painted passenger cars are sitting on the Antonito depot track. The snack car got an FRA tune-up and a minor makeover.
While some recognition has been given to the Friends for helping out, I think it should be noted that the employees of the operating company have been working long and hard hours getting the railroad ready. The track crew hits the road before 7 and works past 5. The Antonito shop crew has been working 12 hour days for many weeks. It's those guys who have really saved the day.
