John,

That's a good point to raise. In my mind, these changes are not unlike those made to GCRY 4960. While the new 4960 is a handsome locomotive, I'd say that TVRM may have struck a finer balance between the new and the old in consideration of the locomotive's history.

I'm looking forward to hearing about the impact of the improvements.
