They needed SG switchers more than NG helpers. Engines 412-416 (in essence class 70's built SG in 1881) went for switchers about this same period.

Conversions:
401--803(3/28/89)--405(6/1900)--345(1924)
402--800(7/12/88)--401(7/98)----341(1924)
405--804(4/8/89)---410(9/1900)--349(1924)
410--801(6/9/88)---411(12/1900)-342(1924)
411--802(12/88)----402(7/98)----RGS 40(1916)[correc 2/24/2014]

SG engines numbered in 800's:

Class 75 #'s 412-416, reno 550-554 1887,
-rebuilt to 0-8-0T, class ?, pre-1900.
-reno 800-804, 1908
-800 reno 10(1924) scr 12/27
801,803,804 scr 1915
802 scr pre-1924

then, finally, the P-44 engines were reno to 800-805 in the '24 renumbering.
