Fresh Shots Of the Glenbrook & Her Schedule!

On my recent winter steam odyssey I spent an enjoyable few hours visiting with Nevada State Railroad Museum CMO Chris Dewitt to check on the progress of the Glenbrook. As you can see she is nearly done!

Chris says they plan to have her out ruining on the 4th of July this year. Since this is the 150th anniversary of Nevada's statehood, they plan to make this a big event with several other invited engines along with the Glenbrook and V&T #25 under steam. This will be a must event!

I can't wait to see this little 1875 narrow gauge engine operate just below Lake Tahoe where she ran for so many years.
