Rick - Breffel? Run Fast? I to prefered the 44 fireing valve placement over the 40's. I know what you mean with the 44's injector, you had to have a feel for it. Thanks to you, I figured it out. Even though my heart was also with the 44 (as I learned to fire and run with it, along with the 14), I did get used to the 40 and how to keep steam. I really enjoyed the first double headers that we did with the two back in the 70's. That was a kick!
