Casey I have more, these are from the RGS story vol 12. I know you have it. I have seen 0404 in these photo's but it never clicked till now.
Here you see the 25 and 0404 behind still with old siding and the light house atop the cupola. The book says Aug 1940.
Here is nearly the same scene. But 25 is more picked and 0404 now has new siding and no light house. Dated Aug 24, 1940. So like you say Aug-Oct 1940 for the new pain to be applied.
