As for background, C&S #1113 was built in 1909 by the C&S car shops along with Reefer's #1100 through #1119. It was one of the C&S steel frame cars, it is 30ft. long and has a capacity of 50,000lbs. After serving on the C&S, it went to the Rio Grande Southern as RGS 2101. I don't know the story after that. It sat in Ridgeway for sometime before it was sold by the D&RGW, and eventually it ended up at the Sundown & Southern.
