Per RGS Timetable # 57 (6/18/1911) (included with Silver San Juan book) First class passenger train # 8 is Timetable Northward leaving from Vance Junction at 8:00am with a flagstop at Brown at 8:58am just before MP 21. Unless this was Train #7 heading Southward (4:20pm departure from Ridgway) with a time point at Brown of 5:52pm. I "assumed" it was # 8 and this was in the morning re: the frost heaving the roadbed...and the grade looked to be uphill toward the engine...I have been trying to get a Google view to reorient myself with no success
