We have had a very productive week in Silver Plume. The no. 1 driver has been re-installed after getting a new pin in Durango. The rod brasses are finished and have been pusshed into the rods, valve guides have been babited, and the main crosheads should be ready to go on in the near future. For those of you that are intrested there are pictures of the finished tender on the Rocky Mountain RR Club web site. In other news RGS caboose 0400 which has been on display in Georgetown for the oast several years will be moved to Plume for eventual restoration along with cabooes 0574. We will be sending the replica C&S caboose down to Georgetown to replace the 0400.
