Roger,
As so many others have stated, through your lens and gifted eye, here in Ohio, I have been able to have a track-side seat along some of the most spectacular stretches of the C&TSRR. I have saved just about all of your posted photos and look through them all the time, always picking one for a desktop wallpaper or sending them to fellow NG nuts. Your wildlife photos are superior to the so-called"top dogs of wildlife photojournalism". I too would check the forum every day to see your updates of the Lobato Trestle reconstruction following the fire.
You have been, in my opinion as someone who lives far away from the Cumbres & Toltec, THE BEST public relations "chief of staff" for the C&TSRR. I'm a huge fan. I'm glad I got to meet you a few years back when my wife (her family lives in Roswell) and I came out for my Uncle Bob's memorial tribute at the CRRM and headed to Chama to chase the eastbound train one day. Firing you from the C&TSRR would be as nonsensical as asking Norman Rockwell to stop painting scenes from his beloved Woodstock in New England in his day. Thank you for all the incredible photos and video over the years. No one can ever match your artistic level.I hope you continue to share wildlife and other photo venues with all of us!
