You know guys I have run trains long enough to respect the how tough it is too run steam on a railroad like the C&T and so I approached the whole notion of coming back with a lot of caution. The guys were really good to let me run pretty quick as they trusted me and I was cautious and careful, but it did come back pretty quick and with the track in such amazing shape it was easy to get back into my groove.

I feel like I still need to get some more rust out of my joints, but with amazing track and good locomotives it feels really good to run the C&T steam again!! It truly is a thrill and honor to run these machines and it was fabulous to be back in the saddle again!!
