I think Thompson Park was between Dolores and Durango.

Yes she is very smooth. If the RGS didn't beat em up they would all look this nice. Most of the sheet metal replaced over the years at Knott's. Starting in the early years after she was first acquired, and more recently when the rear box was rebuilt in the early 2000s. I think the front wall has the most of the genuine RGS metal. You can see in my pics that there is more dents on the front wall.

Today the lettering was finished. We also removed the pilot, so the lead truck could be removed for service. Yes our pilot is removable.spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
