I wonder if all D&RGW track from Malta to Eilers was removed at the time when the D&RG removed 3 rail track up the Arkansas Valley starting from Pueblo.

Removal of the 3rd rail between Pueblo and Cleora took place during 1911, except at Florence which retained the 3rd rail until 1914.
Removal of the 3rd rail from Salida to Malta and on to Eilers took place during 1925.
Between Salida and Malta the narrow gauge rail had various sections containing 52#, 65# and 75 # rail.
The standard gauge rail was 85# and 90#.
Between Malta and Eilers the narrow gauge rail was 65#. During 1936 a portion of the narrow guage rail between Eilers and Leadville was replaced with 85# rail.
The track between Leadville and Leadville Jct was removed during 1940 and the 3rd rail between Eilers and Leadville was removed during 1940.
