Gov. Makes Picks For State Boards SANTA FE - Gov. Gary Johnson has appointed a Tierra Arnarifla businessman to the state Lottery Authority board. Ifenry Uhbarri replaces former Lt, -Gov. Casey Luna of Befen, who resigned. Ulibarri's term expires in 2003. The board oversees operations of the state-run lottery.
Johnson also reappointed Medardo Sanchez Jr. of Los Ojos to the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad Commission. Sanchez, who retired from the state Department of Labor, where he had served as director of the state human Rights Commission, was reappointed for a term ending in 2002.
Johnson also named William John Swartz of Santa Fe to the commission. Swartz had a lengthy career as attorney, president and board of directors member for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway. Swartz's term expires in 2002.
