Thanks John! Sometimes I will just look through all your photo's and just marvel. Did you ever make the trip over to Bakersfield and take any pictures? My grandparents lived about 2 blocks from the roundhouse and yards. We would take walks through the yards when I was about 4 or 5. Of course, things were different then. I wish I knew what type of engines I got to ride in the cab of. I still remember a hogger taking me on the turntable. Wonderful memories especially now that all the facilities are pretty much gone and so are my grandparents.
