Yes, there was a engine house at Keeler. My understanding is that it burned about 1948. It was at the end of the track that became the engine service track.

Railroad Model Craftsman in February, 2001, published a plan of the structure drawn by Herman Darr.

It was a typical C&C engine house, but the entire door end of the building was opened up to allow the larger locomotives to enter.

Below is a portion of a copy of the 1906-7 alignment map. The original is in collection of Nevada Historical Society.

P.S. From 1883 to 1888 there was an engine house at Laws. It was taken apart and reassembled at Belleville.
