It's a shame that she'll never run again or that is what I've heard. Something about the crown sheet being taken off years ago and discarded? It is good to see that she had been cosmetically restored and looks presentable. Looks like the roof vent cover is painted grey or maybe it's just primer awaiting the final coat of black paint. 318 was very well documented by Robert Richardson so the CRRM should have no issues on figuring out to paint her and have it done historically correct. I'd be there are hundreds of pics by Richardson alone of this locomotive. She was the last engine to run to Ouray in 1953.
