From the department of useless knowledge, Oppenheimer's cabin / ranch (which he named "Perro Caliente"*) was near Cowles NM - northeast of Santa Fe, not in Los Alamos. He did, of course, live in Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project, but he didn't live there until after the ChiliLine was toast.

Don

* For the spanish language challenged, Perro Caliente means Hot dog. Supposedly, when he found out that the cabin was for sale, his response was "Hot Dog" and the name stuck, well, after being translated.
