The only part of the RGS worth restoring and spending the big bucks on would be the Ophir Loop and high line to Lizard Head. I think the row from vance jct through the high line is just sitting there. AFter that there would be private property issues, roads built on the row around trout lake and so on. It's just way too late to do anything on this by now. It would costs mega millions and there is no rolling stock or engines. But, hey they rebuilt the Georgtown Loop. Who woulda thought. If Colorado keeps growing, someday it may look like Switzerland with electric and cog railways all over the place.
