Ron - I appreciate the info. I hadn't met Jim until this last summer during the final days of the Engine #3 restoration right before RailFair'99. During the loading and unloading of #3, Jim was one of the essential people involved in that process. He even got the order that let engine #3 continue on back home after the normal wide-load curfew. Jim loved the railroad, knew how to fix just about anything, and made the task fun for everyone involved. Jim will indeed be missed. -Mark
