One of the lesser known ng steam engines is in the collection of the Nevada State Railroad Museum. She is the Eureka-Nevada #2. A Baldwin built 2-6-0 built in 1881, the loco worked both in Colorado and Nevada's E-N Railway.
The engine ended up at the Last Frontier Hotel (Casino?) in Las Vegas, along with 3 19th century wooden passenger cars. One of them, a coach now a combine came all the way to California from the Billmeyer & Small car builders of York Pennsylvania. One time a major builder of ng cars.
I have an old post card perhaps from the 1940s that shows the train painted bright yellow! All the way down to the trucks. Which are now freight car type from the N-C-O line
