Hi Dan, I have often thought of owning my own locomotive. However keeping a mortage up to date and a roof over my head is a better use of what little money I earn.

With that being said. One of the really cool events/traditions that I started on the pacific Coast Railroad is inviting private owners of N.G. railroad equipment out to play. I can say that everyone had a blast.

To date we have had the Marie E, the Ann Marie, and the Dianna out on the line along with several N.G. motor car groups. We even had the Carlwood Pacific folks bring out the Disney combine Wells Fargo.

In recent years the idea of a "Narrow gauge invitational" has picked up some momentum. Hopefully this concept will continue to grow and become a major West Coast N.G. event.

Phil Reader.
