Never say never

I'm not certain this really falls into that category, but the comment about road engines with plows caused me to look at a photo I have of 480 and 488 doubleheaded through the snow west from Chama in December 1961 The 480 is on the point without a plow and the 488 is behind with a plow. The sun is out and the fresh snow was plowed on the eastbound trip the day before, so why not. Over Cumbres the day before the 488 was on the point and the 480 cut into the train.
