As I recall from a Model Railroader article from the 1970's, an Ohio modeler found one of the OR&W passenger cars and purchased it. The wood rot in the car mad the car a gonner. He was able to save enough from both ends of the car to restore about 10 feet or so (roof also) as the entrance to his model railroad building.

Anyone recall something about this?
