At the Conway Scenic some years ago there were two water columns in the engine house.....early in the morning during railfan's day when the tenders of both engines were being filled while building steam, the water pressure would drop all over town. Then the smoke would roll over'em and the chickens would go back to roost. Then the police would visit.
